The Sideways Journal features creative folk from all walks of life. Each issue serves as a collection of postcards celebrating the joy, humour and beauty in the roads less travelled.

We aim to create an ongoing scrapbook that everyone can throw something into. Every piece is handwritten and every copy of the journal is handmade. There's nothing polished about the publication and we do sincerely apologise if you find any spelling mistakes or misuse of tenses. ​

The journal is also a celebration of our right to speak and move freely - a right that should be universal. For that reason, a proportion of proceeds from each issue will go to a charity which helps people do exactly that.
